Damaged-Cathy Glass
Damaged is the true story of the relationship between Jodie and me. Jodie was the most disturbed and abused child I had ever looked after, and her behaviour was so difficult that she has seen off five carers in four months. When she first came into my home it didn’t begin well – she soiled herself, and then wiped it on her face, grinning wickedly. When she met my teenage children: Adrian, Paula and Lucy, she greeted each of them with a sharp kick. Later, when I asked them for their first impressions of Jodie, Adrian looked very guilty when he said that Jodie reminded him of Chucky, the doll from the horror film Child's Play.

But Jodie trusted me and began to 'disclose', revealing details of the horrendous abuse she had suffered from the very people who should have loved and protected her. And although Jodie had been on the child protection register since birth, the Social Services were largely unaware of what had been going on...

Well, nih adalah antara latest book i've read. So sad sampai aku rasa sebak ( takmo nangis sbb abis baca kat opis). Very touching story that i couldn't believed what Jodie had going through. Aku sangat-sangat rekemen pada korang semua untuk baca buku ini. Bagi aku, ini adalah antara buku yang terbaik aku pernah baca. Dari susunan ayat ( sampai leh imagine how the story all about) yang sangat simple dan gaya bahasa yang senang hendak difahami (aku kan bukannya terror english..hehehehe).

Jodie was dramatically had sex abuse with someone should protected her; her parents. So, biler baca buku nih..ade banyak pendedahan yang dikupas yang membuatkan aku rasa macam..ehmm..wujud ker orang sejahat ini?????

I had never read any of Cathy Glass's book before but i believe she would be in line with my all time favourites author after this book.

Silalah baca and i'm looking forward for another books written by Cathy Glass. Well done Cathy...

ps: pix kat muka depan nih is not Jodie. But Cathy described her just like her (cover book).
